Highland Pacific Golf – 8.7 km

Victoria’s friendliest public golf course is just a short 12 minute drive from Pacific Landing. This championship 18 hole layout offers stunning viewpoints of the Olympic Mountains, Strait of Juan de Fuca, & city of Victoria. This course never fails to meet expectations and is designed with a variety of different holes and challenges to keep you on top of your game.

Royal Colwood Golf Club – 5.8 km

Another vintage test in Victoria can be found at one of Canada’s oldest clubs, the Royal Colwood Golf Club. Designed in 1913, Royal Colwood is revered by the locals and praised by out-of-towners who appreciate a strategically planned wooded stroll through some pristine parkland. Royal Colwood is a terrific play during the winter months, and the drainage is outstanding.

“Colwood might be the best place to play golf in BC during the winter,” says Kris Johansson, the President of the British Columbia Golf Association. “She holds up exceedingly well during inclement weather.”

Canada is generally viewed as a cold and snowy place. The average weather for this beautiful country typically does not support year-round golf, but Victoria, BC is an exception. Victoria usually gets snow for a maximum of a couple weeks per year making it a perfect destination for folks to enjoy golfing all year round.
