HISTORY OF THE LAND
Pacific Landing is a waterfront property located on the land historically known as Havenwood. Over 5,000 years ago the indigenous people of the area travelled to this location to meet in common understanding. Years later, the famous artist Emily Carr was inspired by the beauty of the land while she took refuge at Havenwood after recovering from an illness.
The name Pacific Landing commemorates this long cultural history and signifies the importance of the land as a beacon of peace, understanding and inspiration.
